Nominations in for Australia Day

Corowa Rutherglen Virtual Relay for Life, and the 41st Annual Corowa Swim-in and Military Vehicle Gathering will contest the community event of the year.

Local Achiever Award nominees in each town or village who go beyond to make their own community place a great place to live are Kathryn Bruce, Vivian Spilva, Paul Carroll, Casandra Hughes, Meredith Miegel and George Jenkins. All seven will vie for the Federation Council Citizen of the Year.

The Federation Council Young Citizen of the Year will be decided between Maxim Blockley, Zali Peters and Dylan Forge. 

A breakfast barbecue and drink will be provided by the Urana Aquatic Centre Committee on the day. The day gets underway at 9.00am.
