The Australian Air Force Cadets is recruiting again for 2023! Supported by the Royal Australian Air Force, the AAFC is keen to teach young people valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork and communication. Some activities include flying, fieldcraft, adventure training and firearms safety. But don’t let me spoil it, come along and find out what the AAFC is all about. Enrolments are eligible for high-school students from 12 turning 13 in the calendar year to under-16s.
Join the GV Young Professionals for a bit of friendly competition in barefoot bowls. Both members and non-members are invited to come along at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. It’s an opportunity for people to get active in a supportive team environment. A barbecue dinner will be provided at 7.30pm.
GV Pride is hosting a glitzy, glamorous night at The Woolshed for its inaugural Pride Ball. It will bring together LGBTQIA+ people, partners, families, friends, allies and businesses for a night of good food, entertainment and awareness of the road that’s been taken to get to the Pride Ball. The event starts at 6pm and limited tickets are still available: https://events.humanitix.com/pride-ball
