The annual Christmas tradition returns this year to help spread the holiday cheer by singing loud for all to hear.
Whether you’re a fan of the old classics such as Silent Night, O’ Come All Ye Faithful or Away in a Manger, or you’re more into the modern songs such as All I Want for Christmas or So, This is Christmas, you are not going to want to miss it.
“It’s always a fantastic night, with lots of families and community members coming out to celebrate Christmas,” Moama Lions Club president Robert Hardwick said.
“We’ve been holding this for over 30 years, and this year is looking like it could be the biggest yet.”
Not only will visitors get to sing along to their favourite carols, Santa will also be attending on his big red fire truck.
A barbecue will be available from 5.30pm, as well as an ice-cream truck for the little ones.
Families are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and some chairs, so they can sit back and enjoy the beautiful carols and atmosphere
Moama’s Carols by Candlelight will be held on Sunday, December 18 at the Kerrabee Soundshell in Moama, with the carols starting at 6.30pm.
