World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
Join the Greater Shepparton Positive Ageing Advisory Committee and GV Libraries for a morning tea and talk by Seniors Rights Victoria in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Learn about support services and view a display of cardboard houses decorated by the community that show what a warm, safe house means to them. Riverlinks Eastbank, the Mooroopna Water Tower, Victoria Park Lake and the large gum tree in Monash Park will also be lit up purple in support.

Farmer’s Day Out
Calling all farmers, it’s time for a night of community connection, conversation and information sharing with the Resilience in Recovery team. Head along for a free roast dinner to enjoy and share, and get together with other farmers to connect on the vital role of farming in the community. Agronomist Sinead Barker from Meridian Agriculture will be talking about post-flood soil and pasture recovery and maintenance, and Garry and Shirley Semmens from Beyond Blue will talk about their experience as farmers through disasters.

Tina - The Ultimate Tribute to the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll
Ready for some Tina Turner? Get ready for a fabulous, fun night at this electrifying Tina Turner concert experience filled with her hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Caroline Borole’s powerful, raspy vocals, high-intensity dancing and thrilling stage presence, complete with band, brass section, backing vocalists and dancers, make this show a glorious and energetic stage production you won’t want to miss.

Country Music Festival

The first Benalla Bowls Club Country Music Festival is ready to welcome you, with three days filled with music, poetry and fun lined up over the weekend.
