Rationing of irrigation deliveries in the Boort, Dingee and Calivil areas is continuing and may not be lifted before the end of the season on May 15.
About 370 irrigators have been impacted by the rationing due to unusually high demand.
Goulburn-Murray Water incident controller Mark Bailey said irrigation demand had remained steady in recent weeks.
“The current restrictions are ensuring irrigators have access to water while also limiting delays, but we will continue to monitor water orders and wait times to determine if changes to these restrictions are needed,” Dr Bailey said.
“It is unlikely the Boort, Dingee and Calivil areas will exit a rationing cycle before the end of the season unless there is significant rainfall in the region.
“We are continuing to monitor irrigation demand in other parts of our delivery system and will notify customers if there are any changes to the situation.”
