Bureau of Meteorology senior meteorologist Sarah Scully shares what's ahead for this week's weather across Australia.
The forecast for Shepparton over the next week is as follows.
Tuesday, August 6, kicks off with a frosty morning at a brisk 1℃, followed by partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers.
The day’s maximum temperatures will reach 15℃ by the late afternoon before cooling down to 7℃ by 10pm.
Wednesday, August 7, brings another partly cloudy day, with possible early morning fog and a chilly 2℃ at 7am.
The day will warm up to a maximum temperature of 16℃ by the late afternoon, before dropping to 7℃ at night.
Thursday, August 8 will see a slight chance of a shower in the morning with the remainder of the day looking partly cloudy.
The day’s minimum will reach 3℃ by 7am, before warming up to 16℃ from the early to late afternoon and dropping to 11℃ by 10pm.
On Friday, August 9, there will be a medium chance of showers with a possible rainfall of 0 to 1mm - most likely in the morning.
However, the day is set to start off slightly warmer than earlier in the week, with a minimum of 6℃ by 7am.
Like the rest of the week, the day will remain partly cloudy.
The maximum temperature of 16℃ will be reached by mid to late afternoon and drop to 7℃ by 10pm.
Saturday, August 10, is another partly cloudy day with only a slight chance of a shower.
The day is set to start with a minimum temperature of 4℃ before rising to 17℃ by mid to late afternoon and dropping to 7℃ by 10pm.
It looks like Sunday, August 11 is set to be the warmest day of the week with a sunny day expected.
Though the minimum temperature will reach 2℃ by 7am, it will quickly warm up to the day’s maximum of 19℃ by the late afternoon before dropping to 8℃ by nighttime.
