There were a pair of important wins on the netball court too. Yarroweyah’s B-grade side continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 55-31 result, while the A-graders accomplished something the club has not achieved in a decade.
The Hoppers defeated the Tigers 41-25 to earn back-to-back wins, the first time the team has won consecutive A-grade games since at least 2014.
Yarroweyah has three wins and one defeat on the board so far in 2023, with the Hoppers sitting nicely in seventh spot on the ladder.
