It was another busy and eventful night last Friday at the Deniliquin Ski School, with lots of new and eager children and families joining the regular skiers.

Thank you to Leigh Holmberg who was driving Rolco (the beginners boat) and his observer Chloe Macknight.
A special thank you to Bernie Biggs and Brett Parker for driving Gilflite - a boat for the more advanced skiers to improve their skills and techniques.
Carissa Holmberg was their trusty observer.
Newcomer Selah Mulholland was given an award for showing her bravery, confidence and skill on the seahorse.
Three of our former skiers being Logan Littman, Jenny Heuer and Kayleah Harvey have set their goals early in the season, and aim to master the skill of slalom skiing (skiing on only one ski) by the end of the season.
The brave trio all had a go at a deep water one ski start using the boom bar (teaching aid).
This is a challenging skill to learn on water; the boom is a helpful tool to gain confidence and practice the technique. Kayleah Harvey was given an award for her skill progression.
This weekend, we look forward to the 'Deni Wakemuster'. Wakeboard Victoria will hold rounds two and three this Saturday and Sunday.
This will be an exciting event and spectators are welcomed to come and watch some of the best wakeboard riders in Victoria.
The Ski School is preparing for their Christmas Party on Friday, December 13, everyone is welcome to attend this social night.
Santa and his Elves will be arriving on water skis and there will be prizes for the best 'festive' dressed. Keep an eye on our Facebook page 'Deniliquin Boat Club’ for further information.
