All three rinks handled the blustery conditions well, Roger Reynoldson winning 30-14, Rick Bradbury winning 28-13 and Paul Glanvill winning 25-17.

Division 5 won their second match for the season, narrowly defeating Nathalia at home 42-35 (12-2).
Rob Beard won 24-14 while Steve Gann came from a long way down to win 18-21.
The victory was a great result for pennant debutants Greyd'n and Karen Davis.

The midweek Curlews lost at home to a strong Numurkah team 52-65 (2-14).
Val Chisholm and her rink of Steve Gann, Graeme Clements and Janice Graham won 22-12.
Mary Curtin lost 16-25 and Glenys McKay lost 14-28.

Jason Milich, Paul Glanvill and Matt Hansen won their second round match in the Murray Bowls State Triples event at Wunghnu on Sunday.
The 12-10 victory set them up for a quarter-final clash against the Cartwrights from Wunghnu next Sunday.

Defending champions, Beers, defeated 29 Toes and last season’s runners-up Eagles won against Dunnos.
FIIK defeated Savernake (represented by a substitute team last night) and CSI won in a super-end over new team Red Dog.
The other new team, Tomahawks, lost to Parries Pirates.
Finally, in the fish and chip derby, Potato Cakes managed to get over the top of Dim Sims.
