With two Kyabram sides eliminated from grand final contention, the division three and division four open teams will be representing the club in Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis Association’s grand finals this weekend.

Both sides have been competitive in their respective competitions throughout the season, along with the other sides that failed to reach the big dance.
The division three Kyabram Redbacks will face off against third-seed Numurkah Penguins at Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday, March 15.

The Redbacks (9-2) have a significantly better record in the home and away season than Numurkah (5-6), yet both sides managed to beat top-seed Tatura throughout the finals to punch their tickets.
The sides faced off twice throughout the season with Kyabram winning both games convincingly, 9-4 in round two and 8-5 in round 13.
Kyabram Bombers best-and-fairest runner-up Scott Hausler and winner Rebekah Lawson are raring to go this weekend.

This will give the Redbacks a significant historical advantage coming in to the grand final, with best-and-fairest Sonya McCraw and Marg Haw along with Mitchell Cox set for big games.
Meanwhile, Kyabram Bombers will do battle against Tatura Twisters in the division four open grand final which will also be held on Saturday, March 15 at Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club.
Elsewhere, Kyabram division two runner-up Kade Starling and winner Regan More were all smiles celebrating their performances this season.

The pair finished as the top-two seeded teams on the ladder, with Tatura posting a slightly better record of 12-2, while Kyabram boasted a 9-1-3 finish.
The sides also met three times in the season, with the Twisters taking a dominant victory in round four, yet, the Bombers managed to get one over them, winning 57 games to 51 in a 4-5 set finish, while Tatura set a nasty precedent in the first semi-final dominating 8-1 once more.

With this in mind, it appears like Kyabram will have something to prove at the big dance, but the head-to-head indicates a close battle.
Division four best-and-fairest Rebekah Lawson and runner-up Scott Hausler will be leading from the front with the likes of Evan Cooknell, Anthony Li and Michael Argaet looking to put their best foot forward.
