Their performance sees Peppin Planners and Legal Eagles play off in the grand final tomorrow evening.
Last week, Peppin Planners played cellar dwellers Deni Newsagency and the match turned in to a one-sided and strong win for the ladder leaders.
Peppin won 20 sets and 146 games to Deni Newsagency eight sets and 96 games - a 50 game difference out of the 242 games played.
Best for Peppin and three set winners were Shelby Taggert, Thomas Grant, Graeme Murphy, Jack Eastman, Rich Larcombe, Harley Moore and Nick Metcalfe.
Peppin Planners have had a strong season and are out-and-out leaders of the competition.
They are the strongest in the array of men, and, except for last week when they lost a very tight match to the second team, Legal Eagles, they have been supreme.
The team captains, Miranda Rose and Michael Williams, have kept their team focused on winning and are confident that they can win the grand final next week.
Mitre 10 came into the last round needing to win handsomely to gain the win against the second-based team.
A strong win would have catapulted them ahead of Legal Eagles and into next week's grand final, for Mitre 10 it was not to be.
After some player absences, it was a slightly weaker team facing off against second placed Legal Eagles, it was a close but back and forth match.
Eagles had a one set lead after the first nine sets in round one.
Mitre 10 came back strongly in the second round and won seven of the 10 sets played, and so led 11 sets to eight going into the final round of mixed sets.
Eagles won the mixed round three 6-3 and the match was drawn with both teams having won 14 sets each.
To add to the draw when they needed a strong win the games won favoured Legal Eagles 114 games to 113.
It was a very close match with only one game dividing the teams after 28 sets and 227 games of tennis.
So Legal Eagles progress to the grand final against Peppin Planners, and Deni Newsagency and Mitre 10 teams can put away their rackets until next season.
There will be 50 players looking to win their sets and pick-up a DLTC medal for best team of the competition.
Spectators are welcome.
