A result from an incident in a Goulburn Valley League reserves match on May 8 has been found, with Kyabram's Josh Wild suspended for eight matches.

After an investigation, Wild was charged with engaging in any other act of misconduct or serious misconduct, and pleaded not guilty when appealing before the tribunal on July 12.

He was found guilty at that hearing and given an eight-week ban, but the Bombers exercised their right of appeal.

The AFL Victoria Country Appeals Board heard the appeal on August 12, eventually dismissing it and upholding the eight-week suspension.

Kyabram's $3000 bond was also retained as the appeal was found to not have sufficient merit.

Shepparton United's David Gillespie was reported by two umpires for rough conduct on August 14 during the senior clash against Kyabram.

Gillespie pleaded not guilty to both reports, but was found guilty and suspended for four matches.

In Kyabram District League, Murchison-Toolamba's Tyler Damon has been suspended for seven matches as the result of an investigation into a reserves fixture between the Grasshoppers and Girgarre on July 10.

Damon was charged with intentionally striking another person and plead guilty.

Stanhope's Jye Patten was charged with intentionally kicking another person after an investigation stemming from the Lionsâ€™ senior clash against Violet Town on July 10.

Patten plead not guilty, but was found guilty and suspended for three matches.

Another investigation out of that fixture had Violet Town's Thomas Havers charged with intentionally striking another person.

He plead not guilty, but was found guilty and suspended for one match.
