The club’s 2025 memberships are now due, and it is asking current members to rejoin, with the invitation extended to anyone else who is looking for two days of racing, fun and socialising.
The club has locked in its Anzac Day and Caulfield Cup Day meetings for 2025, including the 2025 Diggers Cup in April and the Deniliquin Gold Cup in October.
A big crowd is anticipated on Anzac Day, which this year will be on a Friday and lead into a long weekend.
It has sent emails to existing members with renewal information.
Anyone who has not received the email should contact Col McMahon on 0428 266 730 or email deniliquinracingclub@gmail.com.
New members can also phone or email Col.
Membership cost is $60 for the year which entitles members to entry on both race days and a ticket in the $500 lucky member’s draw, which takes place at the local track on the same day as the time-honoured Caulfield Cup in Melbourne and emerging Spring Celebration Race Day at Royal Randwick.
Memberships can be paid via direct deposit to the DRC bank account BSB 633-000 Account 146 592 142.

The club is looking forward to a positive 2025 and continuing to provide patrons with a great race day experience.
It has two major projects to complete this year.
The first is upgrading the water main that services track watering, and involves replacing the 80 year-old ring main which is in poor condition.
Ongoing breaks have led to many volunteer hours being spent on repairs.
The new poly pipe main will reduce the amount of repair work required and increase efficiency of track watering as full pressure will be maintained.
This is a critical project, made possible through the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund, for which the club is extremely grateful.
The other project is the installation of new PVC running rail for the entire inside of the track.
Materials have been provided by Racing NSW, however removing existing rail and installing new rail will be carried out by the club.
This is a huge project and the club will be looking for volunteers to help complete the work.
It will not start until after Anzac Day races but will need to be completed before the October 18 race day.
This project will improve safety for horses and jockeys, which is a priority for all race clubs.
These two projects will help the club continue to provide first class facilities for horse racing and help it attract more horses for both race days.
So get your club membership and be prepared to go ‘off to the races’ on Anzac Day and again in mid-October.
