The Southern Riverina Cricket Council junior representative cricket teams finished their season, winning the under-12s, under-14s and under-16 competitions undefeated earlier this month.

In the under-16s Warren Smith Cup 50-over a side competition, the SRCC team played the final round against Cricket Wagga Wagga White at Howlong with several local players involved.
Wagga won the toss and elected to bat all out for 188 after 48.4 overs.
Tocumwal’s Tom White finished with figures of 2/28 off nine overs with one maiden, including dismissing the Wagga opener caught by Tocumwal teammate Liam Sutton.
Other multiple wicket takers were Ben Henson with 3/26 off nine overs, Victor Lazarou with 2/8 off five overs and Harrison Pearson 2/39 off eight overs.
With the bat, Nathalia’s Gus Frostick top-scored with 48 at number four while Tom White had 41 and under-16s captain Liam Sutton scored 37 not out.
The SRCC side reached 6/190 in the 36th over to win by four wickets.
This saw the under-16s take out the Warren Smith Cup, going undefeated throughout the tournament.
In the under-14s Geoff Lawson Cup grand final, the SRCC team played the South West Slopes at Corowa.
SRCC won the toss and elected to bat first.
The Steers side finished 176 all out after 43.3 overs.
James McDonald top-scored with 56 off 74 balls with nine fours and Judd Cuttriss finished with 48 off 90 balls with fours, top-scored for SRCC.
In reply, the SRCC team bowled SW Slopes all out for 64 after 25.2 overs to win by 112 runs.
Cooper Hein finished with the best bowling figures of 3/9 off three overs, with seven other individual wicket takers.
This was the first time SRCC’s under-14s have taken out the Geoff Lawson Cup.
The under-12s had a bye in the final round but also remained undefeated all tournament, securing the Derek Rogers Cup and were declared champions of the season.
The end of the season sees some of the players age out of the under-16s, with many recognised at the SRCC Presentation Day in Moama at the weekend.
