Jerilderie
It was a quiet week on course for our golfers last week, however the course had a good volume of traffic over the weekend.

There were a few larger groups of visiting golfers enjoying our beautiful course.
Due to the very welcome rain last Wednesday, and with a number of golfers advising of their apologies in lieu of other commitments, there was no midweek golf last week.
Our Sunday competition was also abandoned - perhaps due to too much racing cheer - so a few golfers enjoyed a relaxed social round instead.
Format for midweek golf today will be medley stableford.
Due to the Outback Golf Challenge in progress this weekend, there will not be any formal competition in Jerilderie on Sunday.
It is hoped anyone who would normally play in our Sunday competition will support the Outback Golf Challenge event.
It is a 2 person ambrose (men’s, ladies or mixed), with play over three days across the Southern Riverina.
Entries are still open until 5pm today if you wish to be involved.
Day one is at Jerilderie this Saturday, Finley on Sunday and Berrigan on Monday.
There is a great prize pool of $2000, with thanks to generous sponsors Damwac and Bendigo Bank.
Golfers can choose to play one day only, or all three days.
Entries should be sent to jerilderiegolf@bigpond.com as soon as possible.
The Jerilderie Golf Club is hosting an exciting junior golf program, which will run for one hour on Monday evenings over five weeks.
It will start on Monday, October 14 and is aimed at primary school aged children.
They will learn putting, chipping, pitching and full swing golf.
This program will be run depending on expressions of interest, so please text your child’s details to Sally Simpson on 0414 312388 by October 9 if you are interested.
