The Ovens and Murray Swimming Championships were held in Wodonga at the weekend with the two-day event seeing almost 350 swimmers taking to the pool from the district.

The weather brought its all too with hot and humid days through to storms and rain!
Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club had 18 swimmers who represented the club over the weekend.
Lara Angwin’s Girls 15 yrs 100m Butterfly was a hotly contested swim.
There were fantastic results all around with huge personal best swims, many swimmers taking ribbons home in top 10 finishes, along with many taking home medals, finishing in the top 3 of their events.
Yarrawonga Mulwala had 86 swims in total including 30pbs, 13 medals with 6 silver and 7 bronze and 56 Top 10 finishes.
Flynn Cox won bronze medals in both the boys 12 years 50m and 100m freestyle.

Ella Hollister - Girls 15yrs 50m Breaststroke.
All events were hotly contested.
Next weekend the Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club head to Corowa for Ovens and Murray Relay Championships which is a highlight of the racing calendar.
