After an even first quarter, the Dogs seemed to adapt quicker to the changing conditions as the rain made the ball seem like a bar of soap.
Buzza was supported by Amy Carter in the ring, with the latter scoring 20 goals in the 60-to-47 win.
The victory is the Dogs’ sixth in a row and sees them in third spot with a 9-2 record.
At the opposite end of the table, Blighty recorded its second win of the season with a 39-34 result over Rennie.

The Redeyes netball president Jodie Brown said she was proud of the whole club after all senior grades recorded a victory.
“The girls did really well,” Brown said.
“All our senior teams came away with the win and it was nice to see smiles on the players’ faces at the end of the day after what has been a struggle this year with numbers.”
Brown said the young A-grade side was improving every week.
“They are growing together each week,” she said.
“They have tried their best and unfortunately it hasn’t worked out for them (much this season) but from the first whistle, they put their front foot forward and made it happen.”

While Rennie went down, they did blood some junior talent with 13-year-old Laynee Rhodes debuting.
Making the effort even more impressive was the fact she played nine quarters of netball throughout the day, including all four stanzas of the A-grade match alongside her sister Ella.
The team's A-grade squad was also made up by four under-17 players and a 24 and 25-year-old.
In the round's other clashes, Katunga made it seven wins on the trot, with a 37-35 victory over Picola United and jumped Waaia, which had the bye, into top spot, Jerilderie doubled Tocumwal's score as the Demons won 54-27, Mathoura continued their good form with a 57-25 win over Berrigan, Tungamah consolidated its top-six spot with a 45-32 win over Deniliquin and Katandra kept its slim finals hopes alive with a convincing 52-22 win over Yarroweyah.
