Shepparton United gun and likely AFLW draftee Aurora Smith earned a major individual gong, while Shepparton Swans’ Josh Rachele and Mooroopna's Tom Brown starred for Vic Country.
Smith added another feather to her cap with selection in the 2021 AFLW Under-19 Championships All-Australian side.
The star Shepparton United speedster was named on the wing for her excellent performances at the national championships earlier this year.
Smith, who claimed the Bushrangers’ best-and-fairest award, averaged 20 disposals (10 contested possessions), three clearances and 2.5 tackles a game.
AFL talent ambassador Kevin Sheehan said the best talent in Australia was on display in the All-Australian side.
“These girls represent the best young female footballers in the country,” Sheehan said.
“The players selected have the exciting combination of elite athleticism, fundamental skills and plenty of X-factor to have earned their recognition as a NAB AFLW All-Australian.
“We look forward to watching the progression of this extremely talented group of girls into the NAB AFLW competition and their impact in future years.”
The AFLW draft will be held later this month on July 27.
Meanwhile, Rachele and Brown had draft scouts at fever pitch last Friday.
The gun duo was named in Vic Country's list of best players in the 56-point loss to Vic Metro at Windy Hill.
Rachele made an impact in the midfield after a difficult half of action in the forward line.
The damaging forward showcased his sublime foot skills and explosive speed around the stoppages.
And Brown turned heads with his powerful leap, clunking intercept marks and spoiling multiple marking contests.
Murray Bushrangers coach Mark Brown, an assistant coach of the Country squad, spoke highly of the pair.
“They were both named in the best players and they both strengthened their draft chances in front of recruiters,” Brown said.
“Josh battled to find space on the small ground and get his hands on the ball in the first half, but he showed his class after half-time.
“He was the reason for lifting the side. His kicking was elite and he gave us great looks going forward.
“Tom got more and more confident as the game went on. His intercept marking and ability to spoil really stood out and he's got really great closing speed too.”
