Inkie Leech achieved her first time up on one ski.
The weather was slightly cooler last Friday night, but this did not deter our regular skiers at the Deniliquin Boat Club.

Both the beginner and advanced boats were fully booked.
Thank you to all our trusty and reliable volunteers who helped out.
We had Bryce Horne, Leigh and Carissa Holmberg coaching in the beginner boat.
Mark Cartwright and I manned the advanced boat.
Thank you to Georgia Moroney and Deb Jennings for organising skiers on the bank.
Inkie Leech pleasantly surprised us all on Friday night by successfully mastering the challenge of getting up on a slalom ski.
Before this, Inkie had limited practice on one ski using the boom bar.
She showed determination and persistence and proved to family and onlookers that she can ski on one.
We were all very excited and proud of this incredible achievement - well done Inkie.
As an observer on Friday night in the advanced boat, I was impressed with Isabella Goodear’s skiing and how she has progressed throughout the season.
Isabella has mastered her turns and is creating that 'spray of water".
Thank you to Dave Connolly for putting his boat in the water on Friday, and giving both kids and adults the chance to experience wakeboarding first hand.
Dave was kept busy throughout the evening and due to the high interest, he'll be back on the water again tonight.
Those wishing to participate in wakeboarding and skiing must be a member of the Deniliquin Boat Club.
The normal ski school will also be running, with tonight being the final week of the season.
Everyone is invited to attend our grand season finale, and celebrate the end of a very successful and fun season at the Deniliquin Boat Club.
There will be an Easter Egg hunt and an Easter craft table to keep the kids entertained.
Ski School presentations will be held.
There will be live music commencing from 6.30pm, by local Deniliquin band 'Reminiscing' (pop rock) starring Chris Bodey and other band members.
There will be barbecue food available from the canteen, the bar will be open and don't miss out on the Tig MacKnight raffle/spinning wheel with meat trays and a 2025/26 Boat Club Membership up for grabs as prizes.
Tubby will also be present on the night serving ice-cream.
Please keep an eye out on the Deniliquin Boat Club Facebook page for regular updates and information.
