Lucy had a great battle with her sister Tess in the final. After the first set being very even, Lucy proved too strong to claim the match 6/3 6/2.
This is her third consecutive Club Championship title at Numurkah which is an impressive effort for a 17 year old.
Jack played former Yarrawonga member Mark Mills in the final of the mens singles. Jack has been in strong recent form and proved too good for Mark winning 6/1 6/2.
After a few attempts, this is Jack’s first Club Championship win at Numurkah. It was noted that it was the first time in the club’s long history that siblings had claimed the top honours.
