Goulburn Valley League side Seymour has announced a massive off-season coup, with 2024 Kyabram District League tied medallist Rielly Old signing on for 2025.
Old starred for Nagambie during 2024 as a big-bodied midfielder and will be a welcome addition to the Lions’ engine room.
Euroa announced there would be some familiar faces returning to the nest this season.
Former Magpie Jarmyn Tremellen has signed on following a stint at Kyabram District League side Nagambie.
Tremellen last featured in the black and white during Euroa’s run to the 2022 grand final before the Magpies lost to Echuca by 12 points.
Euroa has also announced it has signed Bryce Frost from Eaglehawk in Bendigo Football Netball League.
Frost also spent time playing with Harcourt in Maryborough Castlemaine District Football League after departing Euroa at the end of 2021.
Euroa’s Magpie counterparts in Murray Football League have also announced a new signing for season 2025.
Jack Harland has joined Moama after playing 147 games for Lavington in the Ovens and Murray League.
The lethal left-footer has previously played for Moama, winning the Magpies’ best-and-fairest award in 2019.
Harland will be a welcome addition to the club after there were a slew of departures during the off-season.
Moama has lost 2024 tied league best-and-fairest winner Jack Russell, key forward Tom Holman and midfielder-defender Jack Sheldon.
Harland has been jumping back and forth between Moama and Lavington for a decade.
After playing his juniors for the Magpies, Harland moved to the Panthers in 2014, playing five seasons at Lavington.
He then returned home to Moama in 2019, before again departing for Lavington — with a stint at a club in Canberra during the pandemic-hit 2020 — for another four years.
However, the favourite son has returned — again — and will be integral in the Magpies' push for finals football in the Murray league this season.
