The 2024-25 midweek pennant season continued on Tuesday, October 15, with the new early start time and shorter format of 21 ends.

Teams had to leave the clubhouse very early to get to Mooroopna and Shepparton Golf bowls clubs on time, with division one having the luxury of playing at home.
Seymour had a successful day with all sides securing a win. Playing conditions were good with wind not too excessive and temperatures mild at the time of play.

Division two: Seymour played Shepparton Golf Bowls Club away and came away with a fruit salad result but managed to win overall in games played. There was great camaraderie with very closely contested games seesawing over the day.

Weekend pennant continued for the Goulburn Valley on October 26 with the shorter format of 21 ends and no break for this season for all divisions. It was a splendid day for bowls with clear skies and mild temperatures.
Seymour hosted Shepparton Park in division two and Dookie in division four, while division seven travelled to Rushworth. Division seven was the hero.
Division seven again scored a win overall to sit second on the ladder.

At home, division four played Dookie on the lawn green with one win and three losses to be beaten on the day. Seymour is currently eighth on the ladder.

Division two also played at home against Shepparton Park on the synthetic green. It found the going tough — one rink up, two down and a draw, with a loss overall. Seymour is fifth on the ladder.

Barefoot bowls starts on Friday at 5pm and will run until November 29. Families and work groups are welcome, bowls are provided. Cost is $5 for adults and children play for free. You can wear flat-soled shoes to play. The bar will be open.
