The ladies worked hard against the strong pressure and height of Jerilderie and gave some players great moments to shine.
Isabella Kelly brought out a strong presence on the court and provided exceptional support and skill.
We welcomed Erica Hammond in her A-grade debut, and she really stepped up and showed great movements.
As always, we were glad to have Jodi Hawes and her defensive skills.
Despite being low on numbers the last few weeks, we enjoy providing our juniors the opportunity to play up and rise to the challenge of A-grade netball.

B-grade: Berrigan 49 def by Jerilderie 51.
Our B-grade team started strong, with only a few simple mistakes early on.
A change in the opposition line-up made our defence work harder.
The final quarter was a nail-biting goal-for-goal battle, but we unfortunately lost by two goals.
Jodi Hawes and Gen Taylor were solid in defence and fought hard for the ball.
Rach Arnold had a great game, staying cool and collected against Jerilderie and showing good moves in the attacking end.

The Saints put a strong effort in today and came so close to taking the win.
The ladies played a great game despite taking a little longer to kick off each quarter.
The defensive pressure was great throughout the court.
Mia Coldwell and Vanessa Parr had a ripper of a game, flying down the court and fighting hard for each ball.
Sam Henderson moved well in the ring, surprising her defenders with some sneak movements and great fight for the ball.
Leteisha Hague jumped up into C-grade again and had to move quickly doing battle against family, providing both sides with great entertainment.
It was not the result we hoped for, but it was a good game, ladies.

What a great result for our ladies today. The first quarter, they had us worried with a well-fought quarter, Demons and Saints battling it out for a strong lead.
The Saints prevailed and crept ahead. Leteisha Hague had a great outing escaping the defensive ring and providing great support in WA, with some speedy passes into the ring leading to great goals from Annie Cameron and Tamara Holley.
The Saints set a great pace and kept their momentum going. Gracie Rice and Nell Rennick pulled off some great defensive turnovers, heavily supported by Judy Cakebread, Makayla Cochrane and Vanessa Parr through the midcourt.
There was some great defensive pressure on display on Saturday ladies.

The Saints marched in with high expectations on Demon ground and played exceptionally well on Saturday.
Annabelle Brooks’ return was clear with her presence on the court, shutting down her attacker.
Maddie Rice came on in defence and played her part well, as always.
Lucy Pyle, Erica Hammond and Gracie Rice slayed on the defensive end, Miley Driscoll brought her wings into the game this week, complimented by Mia Cameron’s long bombs in the ring that didn’t disappoint.
Charlie Magill and Layla Towler were bang on with their goals, letting us run away with a ripper of a win.

Under-15s: Berrigan 28 def by Jerilderie 37.
The girls played a great game despite being down a defender.
We didn’t walk away with the result we hoped for, but the girls gave 110 per cent and should be proud of their efforts.
Lucy Pyle smashed it out in defence despite not usually playing there.
Maddie Rice didn’t disappoint, running her little heart as usual, and Princess Arcasitas played an exceptional game conversing the height challenges.

What a fantastic game day for our under-13s team!
We kicked off the match a bit slow, but it didn’t take long for the girls to find their rhythm.
Once they did, they displayed some impressive passages of play that highlighted their potential.
These girls are a team to watch in the coming weeks. Let’s get around them and show our support as they grow.

Our little Saints kicked off the foggy morning with a fun under-8s game, followed by our usual game.
There were a lot of smiles as the girls worked hard to stay in front of their players and defend the strong Jerilderie girls.
It was great to have Belle Spriggs back on deck, and she did great.
