With showers and rain forecast, the students were ready for a wet race! Some of the younger students running for the first time at a representative level were a little nervous about what to expect when competing at a higher level. And compete they did.
All students are to be applauded for their efforts. It’s rare to see a number of siblings compete.
There were four sets of siblings, Milla, Tom and Stella Hicks, Todd and Aiden Lawless, Amelie and Max Coll and Jack and Isabel Bruce.
Sacred Heart Primary thank all the support from family and friends across the day.
Any students who finished in the top 12 would make it through to the next stage.
Coll siblings Amelie and Max took out their age divisions.
The school had eight students who were successful in qualifying for the Regional Championships to be held in Benalla on Friday, June 16.
