The Rovers once again delivered a strong, solid team performance when they faced Tocumwal for the second time in wet conditions at Memorial Park.
In what was a tough-fought first quarter, the Rovers managed to gain the upper hand by being the first to turn over the ball, securing a slight lead by quarter time.
Nat Sampson displayed a hunger for the ball, reading the play with exceptional insight. She received strong support from Chloe Way and Ella Park, whose defensive pressure with their large arms over pressure caused havoc for the opposition.
Hazel Glowrey took control of the game in the middle, using her fast footwork and quick changes of direction to drive the ball down the court effectively.
Carissa Bulmer added flair to the game with her impressive feeds into the circle.
By half-time, the Rovers had extended their lead and the third quarter saw the Rovers' defence tighten even further, limiting Tocumwal to just two goals while Ab Wills continued to score consistently for the Rovers.

The Rovers showcased their prowess with a convincing performance against Tocumwal.
Right from the start, the girls demonstrated their dominance, largely due to the exceptional drives and feeding precision of Liv Park, setting the tone for the match.
Belle McIlwain was outstanding in the shooting circle, consistently holding her position and converting opportunities into points.
By half-time, the Rovers had established a commanding lead, going into the break ahead.
In the second half, Sophie Dudley’s persistent pressure on the Tocumwal attack led to numerous turnovers, significantly disrupting their flow.
Georgia McCulloch positioned herself brilliantly in the defensive circle, effectively stifling Tocumwal’s scoring attempts, with strong support from Jackie Thorpe.
Britt Kirby was, as always, a reliable presence on the court, contributing to the team’s solid overall performance.
The Rovers girls maintained their intensity throughout the match, securing a well-deserved victory.

It was an entertaining game in the wet this week.
The experienced players knew how to keep possession with steady passes flowing well, from Jemmah Conallin into our accurate shooters, Nicole Felmingham and Britt Edwards.
As always, the statisticians could barely keep up with the touches and intercepts in defence. This made it an all-round top team effort to secure the win.

Seeing the girls come together and adapt to any situation as we approach the final weeks of the season is incredibly rewarding.
The first quarter was all about reacquainting ourselves with Tocumwal's style, as they had significantly changed since our round two 2 encounter. But so had we.
In the second quarter, we accelerated our pace, clearly demonstrating why we hold the top spot.
Tocumwal fought back hard in the third quarter, and the fourth quarter solidified our victory.
Kelly Thorpe and Emma East, our formidable defensive duo, consistently proved they are the team to beat by shutting down the goal circle and making it nearly impossible for shooters to score.
Abby Whitehorn was a dynamo in the midcourt and Carissa Holmberg showcased her versatility by playing across all areas of the court.

The Rovers were ready for a tough match this Saturday against Tocumwal, a team they narrowly lost to by a goal in round one.
The hard work and dedication the girls have put in throughout the season paid off as they walked away with a well-deserved win.
Amy Holloway contributed significantly with numerous clean intercepts. Combined with Braelie Wesierski’s strong drive, the ball moved effortlessly into the ring, leading to many converted turnovers.
Hazel Glowrey’s positivity and dedication to her teammates reinforced her role as captain and helped maintain the team's intensity throughout the game.

Our second match against Tocumwal this season yielded a similar score, holding them to under 10 goals.
Strong offense and defence created numerous opportunities to convert goals, with excellent driving through the centre court.

Our team faced a tough match against the second-placed team on the ladder, known for their physical style of play.
However, our girls demonstrated incredible resilience and determination, holding their ground throughout the game.
Special thanks go to the junior girls who stepped up, showing great skill and composure under pressure.

The girls took the court with full confidence, proving their versatility in any position.
The combination of Madi Danckert, Indi Conallin, Sophie Bulmer and Darci Thomson in the attack end continues to improve consistently.
Izzy showcased her talents across the court, while Myla Parker, Oaklee Morrison, Harper Bulmer, and Lexi Bulmer demonstrated their defensive skills.
