The Rich River Golf Club Championship kicks off this Saturday and a talented field has been tipped to compete.
The race to be top dog at Rich River will begin this Saturday with the first round of the men’s competition, while the women’s tournament will commence next Wednesday.

After two rounds of play, the top eight qualifiers will return on Sunday, October 29 to fight it out for the final prize and etch their names onto the Rich River honour boards.
In a first for the club, the final round of the men and the women’s championship will occur on the same day.
But for the challengers to the title, it will be a talented field to overcome.
Two-time champion Kirk Ardley returns to defend his title after last year’s two-shot victory, while young gun D’Arcy Whyte is also tipped to contend for the top prize once again.
Aaron Loader and Tyson McCoomb rounded out last year’s top four and will be hoping to improve their positions in this edition.
Current ladies champion Nacole Horneman was in sublime form last year, but will have tough opposition this time around in the form of Kacey Heywood, who has returned from England this year.
