The guidance and encouragement of the younger players stepping up was great from teammates.
The defensive end of Hannah, Brooke, Maddie worked tirelessly all day and some great attacking play by Ella, Laynee, Mikayla and Brylee brilliance was enjoyable to watch.

The girls had a slow start this week with a few unforced errors in the first few minutes. But they gave themselves a few minutes to adjust and get back into the game.
They excelled throughout the game with making sure they had their hands up and defending every single ball putting a lot of pressure on Toc.
The defence worked hard to get some great rebounds, partnered with excellent shooting the girls once again proved they are a force to be reckoned with.

This week the girls had individual jobs to do on the court and every girl played their part perfectly resulting in an excellent win.
The defenders worked hard to get those rebounds and pick up loose balls. Every girl was supportive and worked hard to get turnovers. These girls work well as a team and always have each other’s back week in week out and it’s beautiful to see this team grow and develop into a strong unit.

A freezing start for the 13’s on Saturday which just meant they had to put what they learnt on Thursday into play, which was taking time and practice accurate passes.
The girls started the game off with a bang and giving it 110% since the first whistle, intercepting every ball, sticking on players and working together as a team.
The defenders were on top of every ball, going for every intercept and every rebound. The mid court went to the space and communicated with each other, ultimately brining it down to the shooters where they moved beautifully and shot even better.
Amazing game girls!
