Jarryd said that he has enjoyed every minute of pre-season at the Hoppers but can’t wait for the real stuff to start.

On the netball court, this season has seen a few changes in the coaching line-up, yet each coach brings experience, expertise and commitment.
Kayla Johnson is returning again for A grade.
Ebony Williams, who coached the U17s premiership side last year, is coaching B grade and is super excited for the task.
Nada Nolen steps into C grade after being a huge part of Rennie Netball Club playing over 200 games, and being a RNC Life Member while Rach Guppy is back again to coach C Reserve.

The Hoppers also see Georgia Hope stepping in to take on the Under 15s after a few years off and finally Netball President Brooke McDougall comes back to work with the Under 17s.
The netball has had great success through preseason with numbers well into the thirties each session, including the scorching hot days.
Junior netball coaches for the upcoming season: Mykie McBurnie, Sheryl McBurnie, Brooke McDougall, Georgia Hope, Laynee Rhodes and Haylee Wilson.
This includes both senior and junior numbers, which is a credit to both the club and the families for being so engaged and prepared for the season to come.
As a whole the vibe has been high and a statement made early by many.
Season 2025 sees only three returning players in the A grade side from last year with many of the young talented players venturing into higher leagues or moving away and attending university.
There are big returning numbers in C and C Res with a range of returning and new faces, which is super exciting.
This year the higher grades will be focusing on junior development, with large numbers in U17s as each week the club will be looking at rolling a new junior through for some experience and court time with knowledgeable senior coaches and players.
Netball Club President Brooke McDougall said that from the end of the 2024 season to the beginning of preseason 2025, the atmosphere felt like determination and smelt like hard work.
“With a range of new faces in both juniors and seniors, it feels as though our goal for solidarity and equality is being heard,” Brooke said.
“The RNC members pride ourselves on our values and being inclusive for anyone who wishes to be join or return to the club, to the best of our abilities.
“Having families join us who are new to town based on what they've heard, or people wanting to get back into the swing of things after a few years off or family commitments, it truly brings a sense of community.
“Moving closer to the start of round 1, we are excited to see everyone develop both on and off the court.”
Let the ball be bounced, the whistle blown to advantage, the goals plentiful, the result positive but most importantly may all enjoy the spirit and joy that the green and white brings to the community it creates.
