Off the back of its humble victory against Katunga in round one, Picola United were up and about against Rennie, starting off strong in the first quarter, drilling four goals and a couple of behinds.
Meanwhile, the Grasshoppers could only find goal twice in the opening term, leading to a 14-point Blues lead at quarter time.
United kept along the steady path, kicking a fourth three maximums minors to increase its lead despite Rennie's resistance.
Tallying 47 points at the major break, the Blues established a 22-point lead heading into the third term, a result that just scratched the surface of things to come.
The second half was completed one-sided as Rennie could only manage one more goal for the match and a handful of behinds, finishing its day on 34.
United continued to add insult to injury, drilling six goals in the third quarter and a further ten goals in the final frame to completely bury its opposition.
The final score was Picola United 23.15 (153) to Rennie 5.4 (34).
Taylor Beard had one of the games of his life, kicking eight goals throughout the contest, more than Rennie’s team total.
Not to be overshadowed, Matthew Jorgensen added a bag of his own to the tally.
Beard and Jorgensen were joined by Cody Haub, Logan Daniel, Zac Cockayne and Blake Azzopardi as part of the Blues’ best.
The win will do the side a world of confidence as it attempts to extend its win streak to three when it takes on Mathoura in round four after a break next week.
