Deniliquin Rovers look primed to be a finals contender once again in 2021.

The Roos will be led by 2018 Picola District Netball League premiership winning co-captain Brittany Kirby who will take on the role as a playing coach.

While lining up herself, Kirby said she would have a focus on the junior netballers at the club.

‘‘If there is a junior who impresses us and deserves it, I will happily take a step back,” Kirby said.

‘‘Juniors are our future; if the players in their late 20s and early 30s can guide the way for the juniors just as the last generation did for us, then I believe it is our obligation to do so.’’

Among the A-grade squad this season will be the likes of Nat Sampson, Edwina Barclay, Cara Meyer, Britt Kirby, Sienna Jenkins, Hayley Denny and Janice Hilton.
