If bad kicking is bad football Kyabram had a horror day at Tatura on Saturday.

Yet still won by 128 points — 22.28 to 5.2.
Now that’s a pretty tidy win and, yes, it should have been by a lot, lot more.
The frustrating amount of misses on goal — 16 in the first half and 28 for the game — reached almost laughable proportions at times.
Anthony Depasquale was the main culprit.
He had 3.7 on the board at half-time of the Goulburn Valley League clash and by match end 5.7.
Some of his misses on goal were more than frustrating, but in fairness there were three posters among his haul and with his determined marking was a target all game for teammates.
His goalkicking yips carried over to Zac Cerrone, usually pretty deadly at the goal mouth, but not this time.
Apart from Depasquale, the likes of Charlie Barnett, with four goals, and Kaine Herbert with three another four players — Tom Holman, Riley Ironside, Eamonn Ogden and Mick Mattingly, who hit the scoreboard twice for maximum returns, ensured the home side was never in a position to challenge the Bombers in a one-sided clash from the first to last bounce.
The Bombers’ much-lauded on-ball and midfield brigade, led by mobile Mattingly, Herbert, Moama recruit Jack Russell and Ogden made sure the ball was in Kyabram’s forward line for most of the game.
Apart from the final scoreline another big plus for the Bombers out of the game was the input from its younger players.
Kyabram took the chance to blood another of its talented young brigade with Charlie Isaac slotting onto a back flank and proving up to the challenge.
Although only 16, he showed he can make quick and positive decisions in the heat of moment which is always a great sign for the future.
Archie Watt, Angus Scoble, Bohden Learmonth and Mitch Gugliotti were other Kyabram youngsters who showed they were up with the tempo at this level.
Classy on-baller Watt was heading for his second best afield performance until forced from the oval at half-time with an ankle sprain.
He is in doubt for this Good Friday’s clash with Benalla at Kyabram.
Other positives for Kyabram out of the game were the efforts of defenders Jake Parkinson and Tom Burnett.
Parkinson followed up his stellar form from the opening round with another superb game in defence.
He was well supported by Burnett, who played one of his best games for the club at senior level.
They were supported to the hilt by Aidan Robinson, who also spent time in the ruck, and the backline pillar Jason Morgan.
For Tatura, Curtis Ryan kicked the first two of its five goals, while Xavier Hutchinson, Andrew Ciavarella, Chris Ryan, Adam Eneverd, Charlie Murdoch and Mitch Elliott all got themselves into the game at times.
But they simply lacked the support for their team to make a serious challenge and face a long season.
The Bombers meet another team, Benalla, not expected to play finals this season, in a Good Friday showdown at Kyabram, so will be attempting a hat-trick of wins to start the season.
Mick Mattingly had produced a strong performance against Tatura on Saturday.

My best for Kyabram were: Mick Mattingly, Anthony Depasquale, Jake Parkinson, Kaine Herbert, Eamonn Ogden, Tom Burnett, Charlie Barnett, Aidan Robinson, Jack Russell.
· Kyabram reserves had another runaway win, highlighted by a seven-goal haul from key, strong-marking forward Will Wild.
With Lancaster recruit on-baller Sam Vick also turning in another top game with four goals, the Bombers held the home side scoreless while piling on 21.20 for a 146-point win.
Danyon Stockdale, Will Burnett, Brad Edwards, Cohan Hooper and Adam Pulsoni also had plenty of the ball for the Bombers in the one-sided affair.
Kyabram has another winnable game coming up on Good Friday against Benalla when it attempts to continue its impressive start to the season.
· Starting off another hat-trick of footy wins for Kyabram on the day was its thirds team which scored a 104-point win.
The young Bombers were in control from the start and had plenty of contributors.
Classy on-baller Lachie Carver showed the way and was supported by Riley and Oscar Carver, while Cooper Learmonth and Nick Smart in defence also had good games.
