Tocumwal 30 def by Mulwala 68
The girls came out hungry for a good win after their loss to Tongala last week. The defenders worked tirelessly all game, pulling off plenty of intercepts for the shooters to capitalise on.
The attackers worked hard in a tough contest through the centre and the shooters gave the spectators an entertaining game of netball to watch.
Looking forward to a good game next week against Moama before finals. Great game everyone.
The B graders played an awesome game, with every girl sticking to the plan from training.
Tayla and Hollie both had their eye in from the start and when Mik was moved into GS in the third she continued the shooters form for the day.
Tight defence saw Mulwala picking up loose balls and intercepts after forcing Toc to put up rushed passes.
The patience going into the attack paid off and the Lionesses were able to make sure they rewarded the efforts of the defenders turnovers.
Great game from everyone. Let’s take the same form into next week against Moama.
Awards: Royal Mail Hotel - Nat Ferguson, Wingates - Chloe Burgess, Food Mill on Bayly - Mikayla Woosnam.

From the first centre pass the girls went out to get a win on the board. Great full court pressure was applied resulting in great turnovers, and the Lionesses were able to capitalise on every one of them. The girls in the ring played a smashing game. What a great win!
Violet Elliott pictured recently, was a standout in the Under 17s.

Tocumwal 34 drew with Mulwala 34
After a hard working training session Thursday, the girls had a lot to work on come game day and boy did it come together.
Amazing work all over the court by everyone. A massive shout out to the coach Gracie (who won’t be playing next week), awesome work coach and thanks for the season.
The Lions started the game strong and were up by 4 at quarter time. Every girl showed great determination and didn’t give up.
Violet was a standout in WA, making great leads and directing the play. Kealy worked hard in defence, making the Toc goalers earn every goal.
It was great to be back to a full team with no injuries. Unfortunately the Lionesses were down by 8 at the final siren, but the girls should be very proud of their game.
The girls’ first wet weather game at Tocumwal, but thankfully the wind stayed away.
Movement down the court was great with a few cheeky stepping being missed, resulting in goals to get underway. The second quarter rain eased off and the girls went back into the amazing, controlled team they are.
