Barlow, a Shepparton United product who played 141 games at the highest level, is set to run two sessions for youngsters at Deakin Reserve.
Fresh off his guest appearance for the Dees at the weekend, Barlow will offer his services and talents to the next crop of future stars.
Barlow, current coach at VFL outfit Werribee, will be joined by Werribee star Shaun Mannagh and assistant coach Matt Dowling.
The footy clinic, hosted by Shepparton United, is open to anyone aged 6-16.
There will be two sessions, one aged for juniors under 12 and the other for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16.
Barlow and co will then hang around and be involved in United’s women’s football training session.
The former Fremantle and Gold Coast midfielder said he was looking forward to teaching the next crop of juniors.
“I really love being able to give back to be honest,” Barlow said.
“During my time in the AFL you would go out and visit towns and run clinics and it was one of the best things because seeing the kids having fun, it just opens your eyes into why we do it.
“It gives us footballers a little spark as much as it gives the kids I reckon.
“If any other club is interested in us coming along, feel free to reach out and get in touch.”
Barlow said the two sessions would cover skill-based training, with the junior session to cover “basic-level skills”, while the older kids would focus on “increasing their basic understanding” of the game.
Tickets are $25 for the under-12 session and $35 for the ages 13-16.
