Ahead of the Campaspe Tennis Association grand final between Echuca 2 and Rochester on Saturday, the two sides have provided The Riv a rundown of the squads gearing up to take to the court.

Steady player who possesses great court coverage and the ability to out rally her opponents from the back of the court.
Handles the pace of the ball well.

Jess' game style causes difficulty for her opponents due to the different spin and angles that she puts on the ball.
Her topspin forehand has been a weapon this season.

Steady player who is calm and consistent regardless of the position of the match.
Judy controls the play with her slice backhand and sound volleys features of her game.

A wealth of experience and her ability to form sound partnerships with her playing partners ensures she is a threat in each match.
This with her tenacious attitude means that Tanya doesn't give in.

Has played the number one singles role well this season.

He out rallies most opponents and is very comfortable playing against any pace on the ball.

Recruited last year after moving from Qld and quickly adjusted to the grass courts.
A great asset to the team, taking on captain.
Lachy is such a lively player who covers all the court, accurate placement of the ball to get into the net and entertains the crowd with his dives to win the point.

Our Goornong resident recruited last year from the Bendigo competition to feed his appetite for grass courts plays a pivotal role in the team.
His old school serve and volley tennis and lightening reflexes are always impressive to watch.

Nash is our white knight and has been troubled with injuries but don’t underestimate this gentle giant with his punishing forehand returns and his big presence at the net which puts all his opponents to the test.

Just like the Johnny Farnham tour, Todd has pulled the racquet back out due to popular demand.
He is Mr Reliable on the court and loves the challenge to out rally every opponent.

Grateful for the father son rule and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Tobes is a very tenacious player, grinding his opponent down with his strong calculated groundstrokes.

Recruited from Rich River, and we love her on the same side of the court this year.
One of the leading ladies of the region with flawless execution and returning every ball with interest.

Our club President who is Mrs Realiable on and off the court.
Kaz is very strategic in her play and makes her opponents work hard for every point.

Someone call 000 …. When not serving the community, she takes to the court and her energy is infectious.
Kate has an unbelievable top spin forehand, causing havoc for her opponents and her double - handed volley is textbook.

With her strong cross-court forehand the envy of most players, she has been a dominant force.
Sick of wearing taffeta as a bridesmaid and keen for the team to take home the trophy this year.

Rach will have her game face on as she lifts to another level in finals with her impeccable groundstrokes and well-rounded game.
