The 2021 AFLW Draft is set to take place from 6.45pm and will be streamed through womens.afl website and the AFLW official app.
There are a total of 61 selections to be made on the night.
State-league exports will also be on the radar of club recruiters.
Shepparton United's Kate Adams and Seymour's Sophie Locke impressed for Port Melbourne, while Finley's Eloise Ashley-Cooper and Nathalia's Reni Hicks enjoyed strong VFLW campaigns.
Leading the way for the Bushrangers is star winger Aurora Smith.
The Shepparton United product, who enjoyed a standout 2021 season, is tipped to land inside the draft's top-20 selections.
Smith collected the Bushrangers’ under-19 girls’ best-and-fairest medal and featured on the wing in the AFLW Under-19 Championships All-Australian side.
The speedster averaged 20 disposals a game across her Vic Country appearances.
The skilled 17-year-old could become the latest export from the Goulburn Valley region joining Shepparton's Grace Egan, Mooroopna's Millie Brown and Benalla's Becky Webster on an AFLW list.
Bushrangers lead coach Mark Brown spoke highly of Smith ahead of the draft.
“Aurora's performances this year were fantastic. She improved each week and took her game to another level every game she played,” Brown said.
“She popped up on the wing in a practice game and from there she just got better and better.
“She has explosive speed, is a brilliant decision-maker and has a real willingness to learn.
“She is a really impressive footballer, but most importantly she is a really impressive person.”
Fellow United defender and promising netballer Molly Kennedy enjoyed a superb year for Murray Bushrangers, along with Finley's Lily Sharp and Mikayla Jones.
Shepparton United youth girls coach Dean Walton said Smith's possible selection in the draft would be monumental for the club.
“We have watched players like Grace Egan go on and play AFLW from Shepp, but to have a Shepp United footballer get drafted will be a huge feather in the cap for the club,” Walton said.
“This is our fifth year of girls footy and Aurora gets a chance to create history.
“But most importantly, she can be that role model for some of the younger girls coming through who will see what she has done and hopefully they will aspire to do the same.”
