After unfurling the 2024 premiership flag, the lunchtime legends went about dismantling Numurkah’s hopes of a round 1 victory.
Joseph bland was outstanding in the midfield, moving forward on several occasions to kick goals and put the team further in front.

The young thirds had a ripping game against Numurkah.
The under 17s ball movement out the centre came from the skilful ruck work of Declan Woods.
Fast movement from Tige Sanderson and Jai Sneddon enabled Mulwala to move forward on many occasions with Lucas Tonna getting on the end of many forward attacks.

After the unveiling of the last years premiership flag the goys got off to a fast start, with Alex Richardson kicking a first goal in the first 15 seconds.
Tyce Woodhead, Byron Dodd and new ruckman Finn Wood, controlled the middle of the ground giving our forwards plenty of opportunities.
Keeping Numurkah to just 1 goal in both the first and second quarters, our backline stood tall.

Mulwala Lions new under-11 team played their inaugural game against Numurkah over the weekend.
On a beautiful Saturday morning, the under 11s displayed remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship.
Rex Purtle ignited the first half with a goal, followed by Campbell New.
Despite Numurkah’s comeback, the Lions’ strong defensive efforts from Harley Dunlop and Tate McGlynn restricted scoring in the second half.
Charlie Kennedy finished things off with a goal in the final half, showcasing the team’s overall performance.
