The North Central under-15 team picked to face 19 other regions at the tournament will include EDNA’s Maisy and Rose Byrne, Emma Head, and Remee Christian in the 10-strong side, with Rochester’s Kaylah Moon rounding out the strong local representation on court.
Maisy Byrne has been appointed co-captain of the team, with head coach Betty McComb returning to lead the representative side for the 10th time as it embarks on a campaign against some of the best netballers in the state.
McComb previously helmed a title-winning run in 2013, and with a plethora of talented players at her disposal, North Central could go far in this tournament.
The tournament gets under way on Friday, September 30, with the team set to compete in 18 matches from September 30 to Sunday, October 2.
The Victorian State Titles provides an opportunity for the rising stars of netball to showcase their abilities against other country and metropolitan regions.
This edition of the tournament will be held at the State Netball Centre in Parkville.
