Over the past weekend the Lakers Under 16s and Under 18 boys played in the Wangaratta tournament (held at Wodonga while Wang refurbish their stadium).

Both Laker teams enjoyed a number of tough games, with the Under 18 boys bowing out in the semi-finals, losing to Deniliquin in a close game 38-33.

The club farewelled coach Darren Burn after a season and a half. Darren has travelled from Shepparton bringing great knowledge, experience and friendship.
