The league unveiled Peter Cordy as its incoming president at the December 6 meeting, replacing the departing Fraser Kerrins.
Meanwhile, Wayne Ryan will enter a new position serving under Cordy as the senior vice-president of football, with Simone Cordy set to continue as senior vice-president of netball.
Kerrins’ departure is not total and complete, though, as he reverts to a sitting executive member position on the board.
Cordy paid tribute to Kerrins’ service in a statement.
“Fraser has been involved with our league for many years as an executive member and served as president for several years,” Cordy said.
“During his time he has made significant contributions in the development of our league.
“We are pleased that Fraser will continue as an executive member as he has a wealth of knowledge that will support myself and our league.”
Meanwhile, Kerrins expressed his gratitude for the support he received at the top of the chain.
“Thank you to our clubs and executive members, who I have worked with over my five years as league president,” Kerrins said.
“It has been a privilege and a challenge that I will remember fondly.
“I wish Peter the best in the role as we move forward into season 2024.”
Vinnie Edwards also returns to the club’s board for 2024 as an executive member.
