The short competitions will take place over the next month and will allow both seasoned veterans and tennis beginners to play in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The junior competition will be split into three grades, A, B and C, that will play three matches on Saturday, February 15 and 22 as well as Saturday, March 1.
C-grade will play a red-ball modified version of tennis that is suitable for beginners, which includes an underarm serve and first to 15 points format.
Players are expected to be at Ky Lawn Tennis Club at 8.45am for a 9am start.Play will run until 11am and the club canteen will be open.
The round-robin is free for players affiliated with the club and $5 for non-affiliated players. Junior club members are encouraged to bring a friend.
The seniors have already played one round of the competition, on Saturday, February 8, with another round scheduled for Saturday, February 15 at Kyvalley.
There will also be two rounds on Saturday, February 22 and Saturday, March 1, with location still to be announced.
Games will begin at 1.15pm and are free for affiliated players with a club in the association and $10 for non-affiliated players.
Players are also encouraged to bring a friend and a small plate of afternoon tea to share. The format will be the player’s choice of singles, doubles or mixed.
Registrations are preferred by the Friday before each round; however, registrations are accepted on the day.
