Tatura’s round six victory at Frank Howley Oval was its maiden win of the summer.
Opting to send the Blues to the crease, the home side’s junior talents were left grinning about their decision.
Numurkah managed 7-79 from its 25 overs, with Tatura’s Darcy Brewer (1-1), Lachlan Cook (1-4) and Blake English (1-4) all bowling strongly.
Tatura managed to post 6-93 in its run-chase from 25 overs.
Jack Mahoney was on song with 20 retired not out, while teammate Balraj Singh finished retired not out on 19 runs.
Elsewhere, Mooroopna cruised to a three-wicket win over Old Students.
The Cats made light work of Students’ 6-102 total and chased it down with seven wickets in hand.
Mooroopna finished its 25 overs on 7-124.
Caleb Aitken was instrumental with 18 retired not out, while teammate Jack Williams chipped in with 17 runs.
Lincoln Neil starred with the ball for Mooroopna and collected 2-5 from his three overs.
Raihaan Syed was Old Students’ top performer with 20 retired not out.

In B-grade action, Nagambie and Karramomus both capped off the first half of the season with big wins.
The Lakers strolled to a 131-run victory over Notre Dame-St Brendan’s.
Flynn O’Brien scored a flashy 36 not out from 20 deliveries to lead Nagambie to 2-163 from 25 overs.
The Tigers could only manage 31 in reply, with Ryan Ezard (3-1) the chief destroyer.
Karramomus’ Harrison McNamara starred with 24 not out from 26 deliveries in his side’s win.
The Bloods piled on 6-137, while Shepparton United managed 42.
