Scheduled to play against the Berrigan Saints at Memorial Park from 12.30pm, the Rhinos are looking to get their fifth consecutive win in A-grade before one final 45-over game for the season before the Christmas break.
The Rhinos already played the Saints earlier this season in round six at Berrigan, with the Rhinos winning by 163 runs.
The ladder positions in the MVCA A-grade competition after the last round remain largely the same, while a gap is widening between the top four teams for finals qualification.
All four teams won against the bottom four teams they were matched up against.
The Rhinos sit in third place with six wins and one no result after their 117-run win in their 40-over match at home against Tocumwal on Saturday.
They are one win ahead of Katamatite in fourth, and behind Cobram in first and Nathalia in second by one result.
Berrigan sits seventh based on net run rate, but is tied with Tocumwal and Barooga each with two wins.
Tomorrow will be Harry Hillier’s 100th game for the Deni Rhinos.
He will be the eighth player to achieve the feat, and the Rhinos sides will be looking to get a win in his milestone match.
C-grade
After their 8-wicket win against Katamatite on Saturday at Strathmerton in round eight, the Deni Rhinos C-grade side play Tocumwal at Memorial Park oval tomorrow.
The Rhinos sit one no result behind ladder leaders Cobram, and one win ahead of Nathalia.
Tocumwal rounds out the top four based on net run rate, tied with Katunga and Strathmerton all with two wins and one no result.
This is C-grade’s last match of the calendar year before returning away against Strathmerton on January 18.
The team has five games including this weekend and a bye left before finals.
Under-15s
The Rhinos under-15s are scheduled to play a one-day game against Nathalia tomorrow from 8.30am at Memorial Park after last week was washed out.
The club will also be hosting the Owen and Bradley shield matches on Sunday in the 40-over games from 10am.
Fletcher Campion has been selected in the under-15s while in the under-13s Henry Campion, Henry Pisasale, Ned Wettenhall and Daniel Burn have been chosen for the representative match all for the NSW sides.
Under-13s
The Rhinos Red and White teams are due to face off in a top of the ladder match up at Memorial Park this afternoon, with plenty of the Deni Rhinos young guns on show.
It is a big weekend for the club with all teams playing in Deniliquin including A and C-grade on tomorrow afternoon, if you want to see some senior cricket.
As an end of year function with the club teams at home tomorrow night, the Rhinos are hosting an iPod Shuffle Night at the Memorial Park Clubrooms with food and drinks available.
Everyone is welcome, with more information available on the Deniliquin Rhinos Cricket Club Facebook page.
