Preparations are well under way at Winton Motor Raceway, where spectators will be treated to a range of events during the historic race meet.
Organiser and Austin 7 Club president Len Kerwood said the club was thrilled to be holding this iconic race meet again this year.
“Spectators will see more than 40 historic car, motorcycle and sidecar races and the traditional Sunday Parade Lap of selected display vehicles,” Kerwood said.
The 45th instalment of the event will reintroduce official displays, with organisers inviting spectators to bring their historic cars, bikes, trucks, buses, caravans and other vehicles for a massive car park show.
This event will also mark the 50th year that the Austin 7 Club has been holding historic motor sport events at Winton Motor Raceway, with a renowned special anniversary display to be unveiled across the weekend.
Kerwood said people from all over Victoria and beyond would fill the miles of Historic Winton car parks with their “pride and joy” vehicles.
“It is a great opportunity for lovers of cars, motorbikes and other vehicles to enjoy the event’s living museum of the displays as well as the race action,” Kerwood said.
“Race lovers can also wander the competition paddock, meet the entrants and marvel over their cars, motorbikes and sidecars, which is all part of the entry ticket.”
