Goulburn Valley Suns will meet A-League juggernaut Melbourne Victory at Shepparton’s Theatre of Dreams on Saturday night, with discounted ticket prices now available to entice people through the gates to cheer on our very own Orangemen.
Pre-purchased online ticket sales will close at 4pm on Friday with family tickets (two adults and two children) slashed from $50 (gate price) to $40, while adult fares can be bought for $15 instead of $20.
Upon arrival, two entry gates — one for pre-purchase — will open at 5pm ahead of the scheduled 6.30pm kick off time.
Food, refreshments, bar and merchandise sales will also open in line with the gates.
Greater Shepparton City Council has forecasted an expected attendance of 2,000 and has recommended patrons arrive early to secure a car park.
Bag checks will be conducted by security prior to entry and no BYO alcohol will be permitted.
Ahead of gates opening, Melbourne Victory players will be available for signatures and photos at the Shepparton Junior Soccer Association Gala Day from 4.15pm-4.45pm at the Small Pavilion, which is open to the general public.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali encouraged residents to purchase tickets online to avoid disappointment.
“To avoid the risk of being in long queues, we invite our community to jump online and pre-purchase your tickets,” he said.
“Not only will this save you time entering the ground, the tickets online will be available for a lower cost than what they will be at the gate.
“I want to encourage all of Greater Shepparton to experience this unique opportunity, and see some of the A-League’s best players at our premier regional sporting facility.”
