The Magpies are at their spiritual home at Friendly Society Recreation Reserve for their round 11 affair against Tatura.
Expect a tight contest between the two sides, which are only separated by six points on the ladder.
Euroa, ravaged by player unavailability, secured a six-wicket triumph over Shepparton United last weekend, nine rounds after its memorable win in the season-opener against Katandra.
“It was great to get the win last week obviously but I was more impressed with the way we went about it and how we just stuck to the process,” Euroa coach Andrew Squires said.
“We have had a real emphasis on the top-order playing the team game and batting for the team and not individually. And that’s what happened, we had Vaughan (Kirk) and Fraser (Ellis) do the team thing and give us a real solid platform.
“It was really pleasing from a club point of view.”
Sham Dadallage was “unplayable” and at his very best against United.
The talented spinner picked up impressive figures of 5-22.
Teammate Fraser Ellis was a standout with the bat in the run-chase and chalked up 44 runs.
The talented middle-order bat will need to register another classy knock for his outfit if they are to fend off a young and hungry Tatura side.
The visitors come into this weekend off the back of two straight losses.
Hampered by unavailable players last weekend, Tatura suffered a brave four-wicket loss to Mooroopna.
Tatura playing coach Daniel Coombs will be hoping that opening bat Tom Vibert can put his hand up for selection, along with young star and opening quick Blake Armstrong.
But the mentor would have liked the encouraging signs from last weekend’s showing against the reigning premier.
Lachlan Magee popped up with 3-23 in the absence of Armstrong and bowled superbly from his nine overs.
There is no denying that Tatura’s strength this summer has been its bowling and if the inexperienced outfit is to clinch its fourth win of the campaign, one would suspect it would need another standout performance from its leading quicks.
