It truly was a tale of two halves at Benalla Showgrounds, as a lacklustre Saints pulled their act together as the game progressed to spice up what seemed a forgone conclusion.
In the end, though, United’s lead was too much to tackle as the Demons held on for a 43-30 victory to add another defeat to Benalla’s losing streak.
