United broke its duck at the senior level thanks to a 69-point victory over Nagambie.
The Dees kept the Lakers scoreless for the entire clash, while piling on 10 goals of their own in the 10.9 (69) to 0.0 (0) triumph.
Claire MacGill, Areaka Bamblett, Jane Doyle, Rebecca Monk and Robyn Hough were named in the best for United, while Katrina Chapman contributed three goals to the cause.
United had fallen to last year’s grand finalists Echuca and Nathalia in its opening two games, before securing its first four points of the year against Nagambie.
In the weekend’s other result, Echuca claimed yet another impressive victory – this time over Tatura.
Like United, Echuca kept its foes scoreless in the clash, prevailing 21.15 (141) to 0.0 (0).
The undefeated Murray Bombers are on top of the ladder and boast an eye-watering percentage of 1713.64 having conceded only 22 points.
