East Shepparton faced an almighty challenge in its round 12 midweek bowls clash on Tuesday.

Sitting at the bottom of the table with a record of 3-8, East Shepparton travelled to take on ladder leader and bowls powerhouse Tallygaroopna in round 12 of the Goulburn Valley Playing Area’s division one midweek pennant.
The fixture began with a thrilling opening rink as the host edged the visitor 19-17.
East Shepparton fought back hard in the second rink and claimed a four-shot victory (18-22) to edge ahead of the contest.
However, Goliath proved too strong for David as Tallygaroopna won the final rink 21-15 and the match 14-58 to 2-54.
Another tight clash occurred at Shepparton Golf when third-placed Golfers took on fourth-placed Kyabram.
Golf edged out its ladder rival early with a 19-18 victory in the first rink.
The scintillating bowls action continued in the second rink, with the two sides securing a tie on 18 shots apiece.
Shepparton Golf skipper Colin Power led his side home in the third rink (19-14), with the host winning the match 15-56 to 1-50.
Tatura-Hill Top secured an important at home victory over Euroa.
The host won the match 14-61 to 2-52.
Meanwhile, Seymour travelled to Shepparton Park and took down the second-placed Parkers in a terrific win for the visitor.
Seymour won the match 2-52 to 14-57.
