Weekend bowls returned in a big way on Saturday as teams across the lower divisions of the Goulburn Valley Playing Area hit the greens following the Christmas break.

In division two, Tallygaroopna consolidated its position in the top four with a crashing 12-123 to 0-70 win over a travelling Nagambie side.

Peter Emanuelli skippered the home side to an emphatic 36-12 triumph in the third rink, accentuating the victory for a 5-5 Tallygaroopna contingent.

In other division two fixtures, Shepparton Golf defeated Shepparton Park 14-93 to 4-90, Tatura Hill-Top edged out Kyabram 16-103 to 2-78 and Seymour ousted East Shepparton 18-113 to 0-83.
