“It was nice to see everyone there supporting the players,” Davies said.
“It was so lovely to see all the spectators out there really encouraging and cheering their teams on and they were very respectful.
“There were a couple of games where it was a bit of a blowout to one side, yet the spectators were very respectful to the other team.
“It was a really good day.”
Davies said that the crowds also remained well-behaved during the close matches, with spectators being respectful to umpires and the opposition throughout the day.
“There was no heckling or anything like that,” she said.
“Everyone seemed to enjoy the day and the presentations.”

“Especially with introducing the 15-and-Under Mixed Section.”
However, the Shepparton Netball Association must not rest on its laurels, as the league’s night competition is starting shortly.
“We are all looking forward to our night ‘comp’, which starts on the second Tuesday in October,” she said.
